FGS, Serious error in My Documents

Whenever I go to open anything from my documents, the program that I am using to open it with crashes. I've tried everything. No viruses found.
No matter what I do it crashes.
Never used to..
Help!

It would help if we knew what the program is that you're using. Operating system would be nice, too.

Any program I try to open a file with, this includes MS search, MSN, Imageshack. You name it. MS XP Pro.
I have a file in my documents and for some reason whenever I try to delete it, it tells me that the file is open with another program, the file hasnt been detected as a virus but I think that is what's causing the problem. I searched for the file on MS search and it crashed MS search.. ;[
