Default New case for my mate, need a little info before buying :)

Ive built a PC with the same specs as my SIG apart from he has a 7800GT and its not OC`d.

He wants a new case and watercooling ! I suggested a THERMALTAKE one. But i have never installed a watercooling unit before.

Can you guys give me some tips/info on what i will need and what problems i could run in to.

Cheers ppl for your time

I recall reading that water cooling is not necessary, air will do fine. Also if you are installing it and you built his pc I doubt he will know how to maintain a water-cooling unit and what to look for.

You may want to talk him into either saving his money or putting it towards performance.

My friend built his computer with a water cooling system and it's relatively quiet and looks cool, but it leaks and one time it killed his video card.

Are you looking for a all in one solution (at which point i'd say look at koolance, thus avoiding the stupidity of thermaltake) or do you want to build watercooling box (thus allowing more flexibility)
