Default CPU from newegg...

so ive decided im going to go for a cpu on newegg, a clawhammer 3700+, and ive read lots of stuff about how good a company they are, but i started getting scared when i read all their disclaimers about refurbished things, (the cpu is refurbished) but it would only come out to about 185$. its ONLY THE PROCESSOR, which got me even more nervous, but i figured it isnt that hard to get the drivers and whatnot right? so im wondering, does this sound like a good investment to go in on? because im really looking to start a computer. thanks

make sure you get a heatsink/fan and thermal paste and you should be alright. You dont need to get drivers for it, just stick it in and it should work.

Generically speaking, you dont need drivers for a CPU

If you've not bought it yet, dont bother with the 3700, it's a not a noticeable performance boost from the 3400
