When i moved my computer the last time and hooked it up I noticed what I thought was RF interferience. The bottom left of the screen would start to wobble and extend up the left side until the whole side of the monitor (horizontal hold) was pulsing slightly. Usually degausing would be a temp fix. Now, occasionally the color will screw up. Almost like the color temp is cahnging. A yellow-brownish (coffee color) shading will cover the monitor suddenly then fade back to normal, or to a brilliant white/blue color. It just started doing this and will only last for a few moments. Under a minute. Then it will be fine for a while.
I'm kind of assuming my CRT is dieing...after all it is close to 8 years old. Before I go and replace it tho, is it possible this is being caused by RF interferience or by a glitch in the g-card. The g-card is a Gainward G-forge Fx 5200 |
