Question Help Needed - Saving emails before I reformat.

Hello, I sure hope someone can help me with this. I'm running Windows 98 and am due to reformat my harddrive (need to get rid of all those little bugs). I have everything backed up except I'm stuck on how I can save some of the e-mails I have in Outlook Express. I would like to put some of them back into folders in O.E. after the reformat. I'm not sure about exporting to a file, I did not understand that stuff when I tried it.

Any help would be greatly appretiated........I want to get this behind me!

What e-mail service do you have? most of them allow you to store e-mails on their servers.

Ok, You can eith put them on a floppy or CD. You will have to do each one manually. highlight each one. Go to File>Save As>Save to D Drive or a Drive.

Hope this helps.

Im not firmiliar with your ISP, but i would go to that website and login the mail server (if there is one), and see if you can move the files from your computer to their server.

or you can do what Computer_genius said and back it up to a removable disc.
