Hey all this is my first time posting on here. I have a problem with my external hard drive, maybe someone can help? Thank you all so much for reading. Okay, I was at the university yesterday and I took my external hard drive (because I have school files on it) and I noticed something wierd whenever I entered it into two computers they didn't recognize it and finally on the third computer it worked. I have never had that problem, then when I get it home I had no problems. This morning it is doing the same thing to my laptop, it won't recognize it. I've had it on my laptop thousands of times and I even tried it on my desktop (which also had it on there before) and it doesn't recognize it either! I go to device manager and I see error 10 and then I go to the products website and it says that either that power might be an issue or the hard drive is damaged. It recommends buying their power adapter to hook up or take it to a place to have the data backed up. I've had it for less than a year and now it doesn't work?
