Default LAN Party

i was thinking of setting up a LAN party at my house in my garage (you can squeeze 6 cars in there) but was wandering if anyone would even think about comming, $5 entree fee, free food and drinks, just bring up your computer and game, kinda sponsored by my place of buisness... we were thinking of making it kindof a quarterly thing... but if theres hardly anyone who's gonna come and do some hardcore gaming, then theres gonna be no point

Man I'd love to come! Are the airplane tickets included in the cost?

Well you had me at free food and drinks. Just make sure you'll be playing games that everyone has... or are cheap and can get (CS games are like 19.99).

6 cars... sheesh, how many possible people? desks around the perimeter and some in center?

yeah, CS(:S), HL(2), Halo, BF, BF2, Doom3, C&C Generals (: Zero Hour), Doom95 (for them old gamers and apple lovers ), UT99-2k4, Starcraft, Diablo II (LOD), AoE (1,2,3), stuff like that... also, possibly 100 people maxx, 75 realistically, and the money is gonna be split as the following: $1 each person for drinks, $2 for food, $2 for electricty

well 2x50=100 or 2x75=250 so electricity will be covered anything left un paid for, well, my company is advertising at it, so there will be some income from there, especially if someone breaks something in their computer, like in the overclocking contest (which im thinking whoever wins, gets a 7 ounce thing of AS5 or something, i dunno)
