Default Gateway 600YG2 Laptop AC socket broken. What to do?

MY 600YG2 is over 2 years old. Recently it developed the annoying habit of flashing on and off AC power. I soon found out the tiny pin in the back of the comp that engages the AC adapter plug was wobbling around, and would intermittently contact the plug.

This means I have to sit perfectly still or arrange the cord perfectly so that pin makes the contact, or the power won't get through.

What do I need to replace? The socket in the back of the comp? How do I do that? What's it connected to?

It's getting worse almost daily.

Thanks.

With my Toshiba Satellite, I contacted Toshiba, they said I had to get a whole new motherboard to fix that little broken piece. (Mine broke completely off). They ended up doing it, and then again, it broke off again. I didn't bother calling, because I knew what their answer would be. I know a guy who soldered it on and it works well now.
