Software Engineering

I'm currently a senior in Highschool, and i'm kind of late at getting the whole college thing together. I'm going to go to this technical college close to me, and the only major they have that seems remotely interesting to me is Software Engineering. If anyone here has taken a course of SE, could they please describe the course to me a little. Like what type of programs would I learn to use and stuff like that.

Anyone else who has any thoughts about the course please share.

go to the colleges website and read what the course offers and the outline....every school is different
