Default BIOS doesn't recognise SATA...sometimes

Hi.
It seems like my new computer after installing XP to a 160GB SATA HDD doesn't recognise HDD after I have shut down PC. It says in the booting progress, that only 4 IDE are there (DVD-ROM is on one of them). But there are no problems of finding HDD after resetting computer. And I am also able to see SATA HDD in BIOS.
Any ideas?

Cheers,

Kirret
