I want a computer for my room that will support the itnernet e-mail, firefox, some smt program so iIcan work on my website(s) and hopefully some games like day of defeat or world of warcraft.

What i have
-moniter

-video card, MX440,(will support both of those games)
-maybe a duron 800mhx, not sure if i have it, and if i want to use it.

What specs would you sugegst I get? I want it to be very cheap, and very fast, what OS? i was thinking windows 3.1 or the fastest least system resource taking linux.(which one would that be?) i want the cpu ram and mobo to be under 40$(used is fine, i'll prabally get it fine and cheap off of ebay)i was thinking something around 256ram,600-1200mhz cpu and some mobo that supports apg. mainliy i need to know which linix.
