not 100% sure what you want here but try this.....

Go to your desktop, right clikc - Properties - Desktop - Customize Desktop - then click RESTORE DEFAULTS. See if that puts em back to how they were.

Ok sorry this is not too helpfull, but its soo long this text file (about 4 pages) and I can't be bothered to read it all. But basicaly somewhere on there it mentions how to change that setting.

http://www.bigfilez.com//download_fi...mate_guide.txt

It is a ***.txt file. And was a guide on how to increase your FR in computer games (when I had my crap computer) so it tells you how to lower loads of these odd settings and stuff, and somewhere it includes visual affects.

BTW EVERYONE NEVER DOWNLOAD THINGS FROM EXTERNAL SITES THEY MAY CONTAIN VIRUSES.

Mines safe but you can only take my word on that. Seeming as im a computer noob though doubt I could programme any keylogger let alone one that fits in a 21kb file lol.

Right click My Computer and choose Properties/Advanced /Performance and check off " use drop shadows for icon labels on Desktop".
