I got a new MB Asus A7N8-X and after sending in a faulty CPU now I can't get the computer to work because of a HD issue. The MB isn't detecting it but I swear it's plugged in.
How do I get the MB to recognize the HD? Or is the HD possibly dead (it's from my previous desktop)? |

you're sure you have all jumpers set correctly and the ATA/RAID cable is still functional? also check manual to see if you have it in the right slot, maybe the mobo only activates one channel after the first has been taken, like RAM slots. not for sure though....
