A really sad news. Saegate is going to buy Maxtor for 1.9 billion.

I'm not sure if this is good or bad news... I dispise Maxtor drives. I had about 6 of them fail in a ROW(Maxtor would send me new ones and they'd fail) And it wasn't just me as I sold my last new one to a friend, warning him about the problems. I think you all know what happened...
Anyway, I love seagate drives. I just loaded an older 20G in my Linux box and it's silent! Just like all my other segates. I hope nothing changes about their drives -.-
