Default simple question

simple question really i want yr thoughts or views of what hard drive size i need to run lets say few games windows office all dat bits of application programs like win ace divx itunes all dat? and whats the difference btwenn 2 mb cache and 8mb cache can sumone help me which one to go 4...

the main things that can eat your hard rive are things like video and possibly music. General applications should not take up too much space, it is really a case of how much you would like to spend. I would say 40gb is suited to your needs but it can never hurt to be prepared for what you may want in the future. If you can spare the money then 80gb would be a safe investment.
also as you can probably guess an 8mb cache is better but most hd's will come with this anyway.
