Logitech lx 300 vs Logitech lx 500

Hi Guys,
Got a bit of a girlie here and wondering if you could help me?
My parter has asked for a logitech lx 300 for christmas after waiting 3 weeks for stock to be delivered from Scan.com they phoned to say Logitech will not longer be selling this keyboard, I have ordered a Logitech lx 500 and not sure if this is a wise decision or not. Is this a better model and can it do everything the 300 can?
Any advice will be greatly appreciated!

well i have the lx 700 and i love it, cost is about $50
