For a bit more you can get a better board and a bit less, better memory too

Not to self-praise myself too much but why not just go with the system specd in post14?

Thanks for your respond Praetor. I understand now. I still wonder where you get your ratings.

Also "crap" is a harsh word. lol

hijacker, seeing that it is the holidays, newegg hasn't got the parts to my house yet. I'm still waiting on the shippment.

When I get the parts, if you still want my opinion by then, I will tell you how it runs.

1. Sure you're missing the SLI but that board can be modded to SLI if you're so desparate for it; furthermore, SLI is seriously overrated IMO
2. For non-sli mode, that LP board will run circles around the A8NSLI DLX
3. The A8NSLI DLX has a known "my northbridge fan is gonna die" issue, the LP doesnt

Possibly but now at least you see where and why I said so

Well, HiJacker. I got the 3 products above finally. Installed them...

Havent had a problem yet, exept a memmory problem.

System runs great so far. I am having some small file errors but not because of the mobo.
