Unhappy partition size

can anyone help after having my computer repaired [ a new hard drive ] they set three partitions the trouble is it is set too low all my programs and everything else to only 9.76GB but now i keep getting a pop up message saying theres not enough memory and to delete some programs how do i increase the partition size it is a HITACHI 160GB PLEASE HELP

You have posted in the wrong forum. You are in "sound cards and speakers". You want this thread in "Computer Memory and Hard Drives"

And in reply to yuor question I have no idea lol Im a noob but sure someone can help you. Ohh and in my experience, the only way to change partion size you have to format your computer. But I could be wrong.

Also anouther thing you could try is movingthe programmes either uninstall them and reinstall to a different drive/partion. Or there is a handy tool on system mechanic that relocates the softwear for you. Unfortunately this takes ages but I tried it on a small programme (x-fire) and it worked beutifully. It changes and moves the registry files and everything.

I have purchased it and would sya its worth every penny (although I honly have profetional 5 not 6.
