awww crap time for new sound card :(

well got my new comp all set up and i get a crash here and there
after i reset comp it sends error report and it sends me to microsoft. com/w.e error report thing and says something about my creative sound card...

its happened to me a few times and im just about ready for a new sound card...

any1 out there know one for .......bout 60 give or take (U.S.D)??
i dont know much about sound cards I just play games as long as I can hear the game its a good sound card to me, im not much of a "wtf pwned 200$ x-fi card"
just as long as it werks ...

currently I have old ass sound blaster audigy...works well but keeps crashing

I think you can get an Audigy 2 ZS for about that, some sites have been offering rebates on them, I picked one up for $42 like 2 weeks ago after rebate.

i mean im willing to go a lil over if theres a rebate (8 month wait) but still...
have you ever noticed that rebates come back to you in the time you need extra money most...its amazing how that works,

anyways im gonna check out some sites before i start gameing hopefully I find somethign.

when I built my pc last may I got the Audigy 2 ZS gamer edition (gamer edition doesn't mean anything other than it came with like 3 more games), and I got 6.1 Creative Megaworks. It sounded great so it really sold me on Creative. I just built a comp for my mother and got her the Audigy 2 ZS for hers (not as good of speakers but still sounds fine) and that's the one I picked up for $42.
