i have norton virus 2005 running but it says there are no threats. then i tried spybot search and destroy and it says my computers clean. but damnit, i see it!!! does anyone know how i can get rid of it? how come i can't delete it when i know where it is? thanks for the help in advance. |

You cant delete it because its currently running, if your press CTRL + ALT + DEL and go to PROCESSES you will most likely find it in there, end it and then try to delete it.
If the virus is smart it amy try to start itslef back up instantly if it doesn this then start windows in safemode and delete it through there.

try www.housecall.antivirus.com, it will detect and remove some viruses that Norton does not.

Restart your computer in safemode by tapping F8 on startup and selecting Safe Mode. You should be able to delete it from there.
