well it didnt looked like it got on any circuits, just in one place the edge of the AS was touching the metal frame that holds the cpu down. the AS did not touch the sliicone part of the board or any circuits... makes me wonder what the smoke was.
so are you sayin the motherboard is shot? not the cpu?
