Default p4 1.3 Vs p4 1.9 worth it?

I was thinking of upgrading my computer and I dont have alot of money but really would like to play EQ2.
I was told a p4 1.3 wouldnt be enough even with a nice $150 video card, would it be worth my $50 to buy a p4 1.9 chip and the card of do I just need to build a new rig.
I have 764MB of PC 600 RDRAM also.
BTW its socket 423

that's all getting old, I would personally save up and upgrade, but if you want to keep using your system now, the $50 for a much faster processor is probably worth it

Time fades don't It? It really depends on how much the game means to you!!

Even $50 tossed onto the table, into the void, has an effect upon future upgrades, especially when limits have been set or placed by the actual physical environment.

The performance of a 1.9Ghz is gonna be significantly more than the 1.3Ghz since it took a few hundred Mhz for intel to get their P4s up to gear but regardless, it's probably not worth your money overall: you're better off saving up and buying a whole new system (since a serious upgrade will require chaging virtually everything)
