Red face Network PC card for laptop

I'm going to connect my new computer and my old laptop to a small network, but I don't have a network card for the laptop. I'm also installing Linux on it, probably. So what card would be good? Not too expensive, though.

Well if all you are doing is networking 2 home computers all you would need is U.S. Robotics - USR5410 - 100Mbps 802.11g Wireless PC Card, its about $30 bucks and it'll do the job, but that is a wireless card. But for a hard link Belkin Notebook 10/100 Ethernet Card, it is about 15 bucks. Hope this helps. Any you find will do the job. Hope this helps.

Neat, but are they compatible with Linux?
