Just had a look on Google for AMD AM2 and the info dont seem much different from SKT939 cept it supports DDR2 Memory. I may actually wait for a AM2 motherboard though to make sure i get the most up to date motherboard and processor. I think the 4400+ is only $10 - $15 more for the AM2 version so its all good
The new AM2 motherboard from MSI sure does look good -
