Glad to help, generally speaking you dont need to spend more than $60 to get a basic, decent router

Ok, I'm back home now.
I made a mistake, I'll list the parts i currently have: MSI 915P Neo2 Kinston 1 gig (not sure of timings) Intel Pentium 4 3.0 775 (Processor 630) Xfx 6600GT pci-e 128mb maxtor sata 80gigs I want to get a case which comes with a power supply, but the place where i bought the parts recommended i get a 450 Truepower, but the cases I can get either have 400,430 or way too many watts. Are the cases witht eh 430Watts enough to run the computer? Last edited by Shiwen; 01-12-2006 at 02:44 AM. |

It's not just the wattage that matters, read PSU101. The Truepower 450 is quite a good power supply, but without knowing what the other ones are it's hard to recommend what to go for. Look particularly at the amperage on the +12V line. Most power supplies that come with the cases aren't great, although there are a few exceptions.
