Default My next few upgrades....

Well, ive only had my new build 2 weeks, and im going to add to it already!

Heres the next stage of my build!

1. Add a second HDD in RAID 0
2. Up the RAM to 2GB
3. Get better CPU Cooling (Thermaltake Big Typhoon)
4. Get a better keyboard/mouse (Saitek Eclipse & Logitech G5)
5. Get even better case fans (Sugestions?)
6. Get a MFD (Thermaltake Hardcano 13)
7. Overclock it!!!

Can anyone suggest real good 120mm fans, and also a 90mm fan?

Id like on thats no louder than 21 dB (My current fans)
High CFM
Look nice (Like my current orange thermaltakes)

I have overclocked it a little, only to 3.6GHz, but i want to get better cooling before going higher (My aim is to get 4 GHz)

So, does that sound good?

Rather than buying all that other stuff, why not go on and get another card for SLI? That'd definetly make the largest increase in performace!

As for fans, I can't tell you right off which are the most quiet and what not, but I'd just reccomend getting the largest fans possible and using some sort of fan controller. That's what cools my system(pair of 120mm's) and I can crank them up if I need to...though it sounds like a vaccum cleaner!

although i'm a bit of a hypocrite for saying this but RAID 0 really wont benefit you system that much, there will be a small boost in performance but more RAM (which you have listed) and another graphics card would benefit you most of all.

I was going to buy the Big Typhoon first, then the Hardcano, which is also a fan controller.

Would i get more out of my system with 2 x 6600GT or 1 7800GT, or perhaps 1 x 6800GT (Or GS or whatever its called now)?

The GT and the GS are different. I think the GS has a few less pipelines but it's a few MHz fast...or something like that. I beleive they do better in 3DMark, but the GT does better over all...

for the case....it depends on what you are looking for. You could upgrade to a better thermaltake case
