i'm having trouble connecting one of my computers to my network. i'm using wpa-psk encryption and i already have one computer connected to it. whenever i try to connect this computer to the network i get the "limited or no connectivity" message.i entered the passkey right and i don't have mac filtering on. i think for some reason my router isn't giving this computer an ip address. i tried repairing the wireless network and using ipconfig/ renew. any suggestions on how to fix this?

hmm...you might be right. Check if you are connected to your ROUTER by going to its config page (192.168.2.1, 192.168.1.1, or similar). If that page loads than its the modems fault! If it doesn't than its the router's.
If the page loads, try un pluging everything and leaving it alone for 1 minute. After that suspenceful minute is over, first plug in the MODEM. then wait 30 seconds before plugging in the ROUTER. Then see if that works. If not... go back to the router's setup page and see if you can renew the IP in the setup page. Also, while there, ensure that you have DHCP enabled. Also check your wireless computer to see that DHCP is enabled there as well, and that you did not try to specify a custom IP address that is out of range. Now, if above the routers page didnt load, try what i said aswell. (the unplugging thing) Also try checking your wireless computer to see that you have not set a custom IP address and that DHCP is enabled. Beyond this, im stumped.

when i tried to connect to the router by typing in 192.168.0.1 it wouldn't connect, so it must be a problem with the router. i just checked to make sure i have DHCP enabled on the router and the computer and it is. i think im stumped. i tried disabling the firewall to see if that was the problem and i still couldn't connect.
