System Requirements Question

I have an old laptop and was looking into some older, less system demanding games to put on it... The laptop has a 60 GB HDD, 512 MB RAM, and a 700 MHz processor. If a game says the minimum system requirements are a 700 MHz (or less) processor, how will it perform at 700 MHz? I'm wondering because I don't know if minimum system requirements mean the game will run OK at that or is that just bare minimum and it won't be worth it to put the game on.

it will run very terribly.. but try it, unless you have to buy the game.

but if I already have the games I was thinking of putting on, that have requirements of 700 MHz or less would it be worth it to put them on? Also, what problems might the game run into at minimum (or close to minimum) requirements?

i dunno, you can try it out. it might be playable, but i dunno... never played a game with bare system requirements lol
