Question LapTop Video Card - Can it be replaced???

Okay, I've been reading posts on this topic and am hoping for a definitive answer.

My Gateway laptop has an Intel 910GML video card. My son wants to play Call of Duty 2 on it. We downloaded DirectX 9.0c, but we get an error everytime we try to load the game. I realize now that we need a different video card, and a whole bunch are listed on the back of the game box. Right now we are stuck with a $50 game we cannot return!

So, once and for all, can I buy a new video card to replace the one in my laptop?????

Thanks!
