Default My computer can't start properly!

Ok, this is what's going on:
Today I bought a new Zalman CPU-cooler and after I had installed it, everything except the screen, mouse, keyboard and sound worked properly. The lights on the CD-drives are constantly alight and tha harddrive indicator lamp is glowing like hell too!

Is my motherboard broken or is this a problem which can be solved without changing the motherboard?

Try reverting to the old heatsink and fan. See if that still works so we can narrow the problem.
