Driv3r : Worst driving game ever?

Is it just me or does this game just plain suck!?

I downloaded the demo expecting a pretty nice game, but...wow

The graphics, honestly, look worse than some of the older ones! Heavy detail on people and your car, but everything else looks just horrible. Bad draw distance too so things just appear in front of you.

I messed with the settings and there are very few options. Are there more things in the full version? If so, I'd like to know what they were thinking because I was sure turned off by my first impression of the game.

I'm quite sure it's not me, too, as I went to a site(I think it was downloads.com) and found some reviews. One person gave it a five, another 5 or so gave it a 2-3, and the rest a 1! This is out of five...

Its not bad for PS2...well it is but its fun just driving around hitting jumps and smashing stuff.

I ordered it from Amazon.co.uk bran new for only 5 pounds (PC) and it's the best driving game I've ever played EXTREMELY high detail everywhere, It's so good it even lags on my PC at best settings...

Can anyone get a screen shot from the full version? Perhaps the detail levels are much better there as the demo levels are just horrible!

I was wondering why it looked so good 9.9 Read a bit into it, that is DRIVER, not DRIV3R. No kidding, those screen shots look better than this new one...

i have the game ill try to get some screenshots and upload them. but i was having trouble before doing that. but its a good game the graphics are good i get 20 FPS at 1024x768 if i go to 1280x768 it lags to much but the graphics are good and thats with everything on high.
