i have cool bits2 loaded and can change overclock the system however under Performance & Quality Settings i see no additional option for direct 3D which i need access to to change 'Frames to render ahead'
i need to change that because it is giving me problems(stutters, slow downs) running games like oblivion

i think because my card is very new (came out in 2006) coolbits(and rivatunner) isnt compatible with it in some functions, i say this because after loading coolbits2 the tab Performance & Quality Settings compeletely disapears in the property section of the card(right click>display>monitorname) and i can only access it by the system tray for nvidia (like the pic i posted above shows)
rivatunner dosnt even recognize the card in a sense that the card dosnt show up in the Customized tab(also gives me a warning after running it that it dosnt recognize the card, i have rivaTuner v2.0)
is it possible to change the key for frames to render in regedit?if so anyone know the name of the key?

Note: the custom direct 3D setting in the pic has only 2 values
1) says "Empty" cant click it
2) says "restore driver default"
so i dont think this is the menu they are talking about
