Default Plug and Play?

Hey guys. My friend recently upgraded from dial-up (he lives on a big hill so that's all he had) and now he is using satallite. I have never used that type before, and I don't know if it's fast or slow. Anyhow, we are going to to instal a router at his house tonight so we can play some WoW together. When I buy the router (I have never done networking before) do I just plug everything and and just play? Or do I need drivers and stuff?

thanks, GamerGuy

usually if your just doing a one time thing, depending on the router, you can just plug the internet connection in, and if its wireless than u can usually just go to your control panel-->network connections and hit set up new connection and it should easily search for it, basiclly teh same with a wired connection but im not sure if ull need drivers as the internet signal usually doesnt, hehe, but im not totally sure about satalite but if it is the same network cord as in dsl and cable you shouldnt have a problem!
