hey all,

would be grateful for your advice here; are laptops designed to be left on over long periods of time? i have a desktop pc which stays on pretty much all day every day and just switch off at night, but just got a new dell laptop and was wondering if its ok to leave it on all the time (provided you are working on AC power) coz it seems to get reeeeally hot underneath lol so just thought id check. and also will it damage the battery in any way??
