Default Webcam...

I just bought a new digital camera, and the box and directions told me that I can hook it up to my messengers as a webcam so I followed the directions they gave me but it didn’t really help much, all it does it lead me back to how I download my pictures. I gave a link of the camera I got at the bottom of this thread, I am about to reformat, but can someone tell me what I should do to make the webcam work?

My camera is a Vupoint Solutions DC-ST300-VP Digital Camera . Maybe someone else has one or something like it and maybe can help me? Here is the link…

You aren;t reformatting because of this camera problem are you? If so I don't think it will help.

For my digi camera, you have to set the camera on a certain mode before plugging it in for webcam use, maybe you could look for that. Also...are you sure you have installed all drivers on the cd. With the camera I just mentioned, there are different drivers required for webcam use than with regular picture uploading usage.

on that link u gave us, it didn't seem to say that it will work as a webcam. but since the box said it did, it must. if you have already followed directions and installed the necessary programs to make it work as a webcam, make sure that you have it set up on msn messenger also. and it is plugged in and the necessary drivers/programs are running.
