First off, it would be a better choice to pick a motherboard that nativly supports the AMD X2 series without the need to flash the BIOS (if they even have a new BIOS that supports X2), i would look for a new mobo.

That video card looks good, but you can get a 7800GT for under $300.

I would go with this power supply: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817103931, the one you picked out is good, but this has more amps, more watts, and is a better brand.

I've heard good things about XFX so I think I will stick with that card. $309 isnt that bad anyway.

Yeah I think you're right there. I'll look into it.

Well eVGA has this warrenty (so ive read), and no matter what you do to the card, if its damaged the'll take it back and issue a refund. Expcet nothing physical. Ant that card is nice, just wanted to let you know about other options

I'll look at the eVGA 7800GT, but what do you think of this mobo instead?

Gigabyte isnt one of the best oc'in boards, but it looks pretty decent.

I'd consider this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813127225

Ooooh they are both really nice and really close in price, this is gonna be a tough one. I dont plan on OC'ing much since I dont know how well X2's can OC, but I will have to debate between those two boards... I was also thinking e-baying my 3000+, X700, and my 1GB of RAM to fund getting 2GB of OZC Gold RAM, which would be two of this set:

You may want to look into 2 X 1 Gb though because otherwise you have to run 2T.

Have you considered getting a DFI lanparty board?

I know, redrider has 2GB of it and he loves it, so I want some too! And I thought it would be more expensive than that, the toal is like $280 for 2GB of that stuff! Not bad at all.
