I've been having some trouble with one of my computers, with just about every program I try to install it tells me WININET.dll could not be found, reinstalling the application may fix the problem. Any ideas what's going on?
Thanks, John

there are a handfull of virus's that effect wininet.dll. Mainly the Trojans/Zlob-AO, and varients. I seriously suspect that this is the cause of your problems.
It can be replaced, but first i highly suggest some virus/malware scans. Start a new thread in the security section of this forum (be sure to mention it was under request of me). Outline the problem as you have here and request info on how to check for virus's. One of the mods there will pick it upand help (if not then I will)
