Router Monitoring

I'm wondering if there is a program out there that will tap into my router and give me real time bandwidth reports. Basically, how much bandwidth each IP is eating up. Here's the deal, I work at a small business, we've got a server, a dsl connection, and about twelve computers hooked up to a 16-port D-Link DES 1024D router, which is daisy chained off of a 2-port Linksys BEFSR41 router, which then hits the DSL modem (I didn't set it up!). I can't seem to figure out the IP address to the D-link router, all I can manage is 192.168.2.1 for the Linksys router. My problem is that when I'm going around doing my b usiness on the internet on a daily basis, there are times when the lag drags me down to a bare minimum. We all know what this is from - someones probably running kazaa or another p2p program (I've caught a few people, but that was easy, since they were downloading to a shared drive).

Now, from the Linksys router, I've got logging enabled, and get a brief incoming/outgoing overview. I can see who is doing what for the most part on the web, which isn't what I want.

The server is running Windows 2000 Server, the rest of the machines are running XP Home.

Does anyone know of any tools or programs I can install that will allow me to see which computer the router is feeding the most data to?

hey give me deatails of your networks then i say u clearly how u monitorning ur router in your cafe...you can use this site it is usefull...

Wouldnt the router do that?

(or you could run the router as a swtich and the W2K Server as a router)

That site doesn't help me... I don't need to know if the server is up or down, I need a detailed report of the traffic going out to each IP from the router. Plus, I only speak english... proper, english, so I can't really decipher what you need...

Do what now? The only logging options I have on the router is the basic SNMP listing of incoming and outgoing traffic. This shows the IPs that each computer is going in and out to, but will not give me any more information, or how much total bandwidth is being sent to each computer... What do you mean run the router as a switch and the w2k server as a router? I can't even find the IP address to the D-link router, my gateway is the linksys router. I just want solid proof on someone running a p2p program on the network here, I'm sick of the lag spikes when they turn it on.

You can configure your W2K-S system to run as a DHCP (provided you have 2 NICs but they are cheap: just have Internet enter one NIC and have the router-->Switch connected to the second nic). Now set your W2K-S to log everything and you'll be fine
