Default spin down time?

nero drivespeed has an option to change spin down time. what is spin down time, and is more or less time better?

I'm not quite sure why you have an option to change this, but I'd assume it's simply to control how long the computer allows for the disk to spin down after burning and such. Perhaps before trying to eject

no because its default at 2 minutes... i can just pop out the disc right after burning.
