Default Operating system from google - Google OS

Could this be true?? Google making an operating system, my dad said he heard something about it on BBC news this morning, and i have just found this link: http://www.gizmodo.com/gadgets/softw...os--123473.php
It looks like it oculd be good for a basic internet pc, and i think it's based on Linux, what do you guys think of it? will it be another great product from google?

I havent read the article, but it is not completely impossible that they would develop an operating system, I am sure it has been discussed by the top notch execs at google.

Hmm....there's all this hype about GOOGLE and so far it has been working. However, I doubt and OS, even from a giant like GOOGLE would grab hold of a significant portion of the market.

those images and article are fictional, but i think its common knowledge that google have had a os deep in the pipeline for some time. Probably based on knoppx or some linux version.
