ok, i think i need to flash my bios, and i was wondering how i shold go about this?
Mobo: Epox EP-8KMM+. i downloaded a .bin file and a BIOS flash tool from epox website and i dont know if i should run them or not? i am trying to keep from f*****ng anything up, so i want to know EXACTLY how to perform a flash.thanx shupola

They don't have a program to do that? Usally the sites have software to go along with the file to flash it for ya... Or they'll have a description or what you need to do step by step...

You know something dude, you might be out of luck... I did a little researching and it seems that board(by EPoX's site) can only go up to 1.4GHz! Or an Athlon XP 2000, whichever's higher...
I can't find what changes are made with the bios updates, but if that's as high as your bios says, you might be out of luck. You should be able to clock it up higher than 800, but the mobo will be you're limitation
