hah
whats up guys The reason why i am buying a new computer is because i need a faster, more up to date, more memory EXT. i am i mountain biker and i am going to be making my own websites, uploading all my vids from my video recorder ( i need a firewire port) i would like to have XP on it, more than 2 ghz, around 500mb RAM, and more than 80 gb of hard drive. i am probably talking bogus right now cause i dont really know what im talking about. please help soo.....i am in need of buying a desktop. but i am not sure which combo to buy ( should i buy only a desktop then indivudually buy the mouse keyboard ect) or should i buy complete system with monitor and tower and mouse and keyboard... EXT the big prob is that i dont want to spend more than 400 on a tower alone with XP already installed i am a highschooler with no job, and my parents we do have a family computer downstairs, which is a compaq presario celeron prosessor, designed for windows 98 ( but it has XP on it) and has a purple plastic bubble where the joystick and usb ports are ( what is the computer called so i can find stats of it, cause my dad said its upgraded as much as it can with hardrive and RAM) and i will be getting the monitor from the downstairs computer with my new computer, and i have an extra keyboard i know this is one hell of a confusing long post, but i need as much help as possible what brand to buy, which combo, and at the lowest price thanks jordan |

Intel Pentium 4 2.8Ghz ~$140 Motherboard w/Integrated Video ~$55 Windows XP Home ~$90 512MB DDR400 ~$35 200GB SATA hard drive ~$90 Total: ~$410.

the desktop downstairs is a Compaq 5900Z
i beilive now it has a 40gb harddrive, and a 128mb RAm, which is very poor. should i just buy those 3 products that geoff said above and put them in the compaq downstairs? ( the Intel Pentium 4 2.8Ghz ~$140...... the 200GB SATA hard drive ~$90......... and the 512MB DDR400 ~$35) around $270? |
