THE ECHO from my SPEAKERS is driving me crazy

I have a P4P800 with SoundMAX Digital Audio onboard

I have rebooted, unplugged and all kinds of different choices within the volume controls and the Wizard settings..... my speakers have been echoing for a few weeks now ?

Do you have a micophone plugged in?

No Mic plugged in ... I wanted to so I could start using Google Talk's features but the Mic plug in's didn't seem to work either.. I front panel and rear hook ups... so I gave up and the speakers have echoed since or maybe before I'm not sure now?
