I am getting ready to paint the inside of my case before I install my new 939 system. Will the paint fumes affect anything inside the case?

I agree. there is an outside chance of something causing those fumes to ignite... wouldn't want to blow up our computer, would we?
Also, the fumes may cause corrosion, hard to say. |

If you paint it outside and let it air dry, on a normal summer say i'd say less than 2 hours. But since its winter, you should let it dry inside. I'd say let it sit and dry for at least 2 hours, and touch it to make sure its dry. Also air it out so theres not alot of fumes in there.

When i painted my K6 system (outside not inside), it dried in like 1 hour, which was really good, it was the middle of summer outside though..... Never tried painting the inside, should be OK..... i cant see paint fumes being corosive to the point of damging internal companents though, thats just silly. Expecially if you've got case fans going moving it all about, thats nothing to worry about
