well, i just got the hdd in...gotta download the drivers though. i was really impressed with the guy i got it from. it actually came in an anti-static bag. pretty good for used! all im down to is some ram, and a decent video card. some day ill have myself a nice, shiny 19' lcd from lg....sigh.

Ah my bad, now that I read your post again it makes sense (was thinking you thought all/most mobos make exclusive use of plastic risers rather than screws+brass risers

yeah, pads wasnt quite the right word, lol, just grounding holes , and RAM would most definatly help with booting a computer
