Default which to buy

I'm am stuck making a decsicion between two computers a gateway nx200s or Dell B130 the main difference I can see so far is with the dell i get a 5400 rpm hard drive. the gateway has only 4200 rpm hard drive. The gateway uses the extreme force graphics and dell uses intel accelerated graphics accelorator. The gateway comes with 15 inch screen dell 14. dell has 512 mb of physical memory and the gateway only 256mb. and i think the gateway might have the 8x cd burner and the dell only has the 4x not sure though. with the gateway like it is would be cheaper by about forty bucks. So some opinions what you think you would choose would be very helpful.

I'd get the gateway. It's small and very stylish. It's got a better GPU, too - something that you can't upgrade. As for more memory, I'd just get another stick and drop it in later.

It's actually a combo drive. The Gateway's burner should be up to 24X and maybe that 8x is for the DVD read.

your telling me i can't put a different video card in my laptop. and these are both new right out of the box which come with windows xp home which is no biggy because i already have xp pro upgrade disk. and the dell from the sounds of will boot faster than the gateway because of the higher 5400 rpm vs the 4200 rpm hard drive that dell has that is what is making it so hard because the gateway will cost more if i decide to go upgrading parts.

No, you probably can't upgrade the GPU in your laptop.

The Dell will boot faster? What makes you think that?
