anyone install this on their 64bit machine? how's it run?
It runs remarkably smoothly and fast and stuff. Driver support is also fairly decent (with the noticeable exception of Logitech drivers).

also, i'm having a hell of a trouble installin this for some reason....i have all the files burnt on a cd-rw as an iso and reboot my machine to boot on cd-drive and...wait...wait...xp pro just starts
You need to boot off the CD.

I don't think you can boot from a slave drive so your OS needs to be on the master drive. Why do you need to install XP 64bit Edition when you have XP Pro?
1. You can boot off the Slave Drive if the BIOS is configured to.
2. W64 allows you to run games and 64bit apps in 64bit mode
