I need to get my info in a floppy and get it compressed I have a disk thats called a zip disk can I put any information from the main e drive on the zip and then again compress it on to a floppy its seems it the only way I can reinstall everything from scratch on my lap top, I have a good pc to do this if I can???????

It sounds like he's saying that the only way to get information on his ZIP disks is to make a compressed folder. And thats the only way he can back stuff up.

if i understand you right, you need information for the zip disk, which you can obtain from your hdd, and then you need to put it onto floppies so you can install it?
well, are they boot disks or anything like that? if not, just leave it on the zip disks and install it that way, or when you get it to the other pc, copy it onto the desktop and install it. and yea the zip disk is better off opposed to a floppy. holding up to 100mb and more. just drag and drop like you would a floppy.
