k im having problems with my network right now ive only got one computer hooked up on the internet by means of an usb modem. So because i didnt want to buy a new modem and a router. i took one of the switches i already had and know i want to setup the computer ive got to be a server but still useable as a normal computer so i just want it to redirect internet to the other computers ive got on my network can anyone help me with this?
ive been busy for some while trying to get it to work but i think ive overlooked something. ive got everything wired so dont worry about that. right now i just want to hook up one extra computer on the network. the ocmputer i want to make a server has win xp home (ip: 192.168.1.1)and the other one has win xp prof (ip: 192.168.1.2). |
