Default Laptop got, but with a defect mainboard!

Well, I've known it but got the laptop. Now my only problem is: I don't know which mainboard I can buy to build it in. The reason is that I don't know the type (which company build it) ... Can I see that somehow?

Look at it, it will tell you the make, then try reading the sticker on the bottom that will tell you the model

You'll have to call the Brand name on your laptop. They'll have the specs and mostlikely they'll be the only ones with the motherboard to sell you.

~~' And where do I find a number? I don't see any numbers... only now, I've opened it. Just see some IDs. Don't know if they're the product numbers...

Yeah you going to need to call them up give them the motherboard model and take it from there. There will only be one model of laptop using that motherboard number

Nice and good, but how do I open the Laptop till the ground? I only could take away Floppy disk drive and DVD-ROM drive... Then there's a metal which blocks me from the mainboard....

What's the brand of your laptop? Just call them, you dont need to look at the motherboard ID. They'll give you a quote on the job or part.

What's the brand of your laptop? Dell, Sony, Toshiba, etc. You should call them for support.
